I would like to say what a fantastic harvest festival. The performances (KS1 were too cute for words) were great and the soup or should I say chocolate cake back at school after was lovely.
It was great to see everyone and to hear you are all getting on well.
Best Wishes

Hi guys!

Its great being in Yr6 now! Thought I am so not looking forward to SATS!!! School is really fun and I like the animation project we are working on, its fun doing the animals and other props in it. In maths it is fun as we are doing a Theme Park, sounds a bit strange, yes!!! I can't wait until the Fashion Show we are holding at the school. Our outfits look great, and I really like mine!!!

This school is the best and I really DON'T want to leave this year. Everyone is so great, especially the little ones. The memories I have from this school will be stuck in my mind forever!
Lots of Love,

Dear All, I went to Kings Caple School in the 1970s and couldn't have had a better start in life. I now have 2 daughters of my own, the elder one having to cope with being in a class of 36 children. Eariler on this year I brought the family down for a holiday and it was lovely to stand on the bridge with my daughters, just like I had done with my Mum and show them the wonderful school where I spent some of the happiest years of my life. My aim has always been to come back to Kings Caple and hopefully one day I will succeed. Thank you and may the school never close.

Just wanted to say how much we all enjoyed the Ceilidh on Saturday night. A lovely, relaxing evening with family and friends! Even 3year old Eben kept going until 9.30pm and kept asking when the next dance would be!! Well done to everyone who helped to organise it.

Hiya!
I cannot wait until we go to Snowdonia! Zach and I will have our birthday while we are there.
I will miss the Yr 6 because the are soooo funny. I wil especially miss the Yr 6 girls Grace, Michelle, Steph, Freya & Rachael :-(
I am looking forward to the school fete as I missed it last year because I was on holiday. Also I like that it is a carnival theme.
It is fun being a GOLD AMBASSADOR and going to other schools. We have not yet been to a school but I can't wait until we do. It is also fun being in Eco Council and School Council.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our school and all the other Herefordshire schools at the HACS rally in Hereford on Wednesday 13th February. It was an amazing morning and Sharon's red heart balloons were very visible. Let's hope we have been able to make a difference and ensured that Kings Caple village will have a school for a long time to come!

Hi.
I love Kings Caple but I am sad and angry because the council want to close our school. I think the council are stupid because our school is a fab school and I never want it to closed. I will not be at the school because I will be in Yr 7 but I am protesting for Eachann and Iona's sake,(my brother and sister) as they will be at the school.

Love you all

Dear Gill and Staff

I have just heard the news about the Council's decision to back track on the proposals revealed on 10 January and am thrilled! The fight goes on though as there is a war to be won.

I just wanted you all to know that we (and I speak for all of the parents I am sure) are behind you 100% of the way.

Thank you for what you are doing for the children by dealing with the situation in such a sensitive way when you must all be worried for your own families with your employment at risk.

They still have a fight on their hands!

What a lovely atmosphere at the Summer Fair on Friday and congratulations to all concerned for all the hard work involved it making it such a success, particularly the PTFA members. I would like to post a thank you to Ian Moseley for giving up his time the other afternoon training the TAG Rugby team. GOOD LUCK Tag team for Friday.

Thanks also to the kind donations of plants from everyone for the gardening club.

The potatoes are going great guns for the competition, they seem to like being in dustbins. The Gardening Club are busy planting, weeding, watering and mostly getting grubby but that's all part of the fun.

I'm thoroughly enjoying being a mummy at this school, all the staff and children are fantastic. Thanks for making it such a welcoming place.

I have just started my last term at Kings Caple THE BEST SCHOOL IN THE WORLD. I will be really sad to leave but I am really looking forward to going to John Kyrle High School. I love school because we do lots of sport football is my best. Last term I got my gold in swimming and I've got my 2007 footbal badge. I really enjoyed doing swimming and I am really upset that we are not doing it this term. Thank you to Miss Jones and Mrs Thompson for being FANTASTIC teachers.

I like school because I sometimes work with Yr 2. In the Easter competition me and Ethan won. I made a garden and Ethan made a space age spider. Adriarno our football teacher is leaving which is a bit sad. I really like this school and I never want to leave it.

Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed the Forest Of Dean Male Voice Choir and the performance of the Selfish Giant by the Children on Friday evening. The variety of songs performed by the Male Voice Choir was amazing and the children rose to the standards of the choir admirably. I still believe that your (now ours!) school must be one of the best in Herefordshire. Long may it (and you, Mrs Thompson and the Staff) continue.

I like working with Yr5/6 and I am enjoying school. Last week on Tuesday tag-rugby with Bruce. In the match I scored a tri in one run! I was suprised by this because I'm not a very fast runner. I think this was because all the other team was in a big huddle!

We really had a great time at the Christmas Bazaar this afternoon - came home with much more than we took! What an inspiration the children are - real little entrepreneurs!
Many a small school could do with taking a leaf out of your book!

Looking Forward now to the School Play on Friday

I would like to thank all of you: children and adults. It is thanks to you I enjoyed so much these four weeks at Kings Caple. Your school is so pleasant, don't change ! I hope, children, you would have forgiven my awful accent and my mistakes, I guess you have sometimes found it very funny. Go on working hard and enjoying yourselves ! I will send you some news from France. Bye
